 Welcome to Third Grade!

Hello! My name is Mrs. Dee Riesen. I am the third grade teacher at Tri County. I have created this web site to provide different resources to help my students and their parents with many different things.

Mrs. Riesen’s
Third Grade Class Supply List

Welcome to 3rd Grade! I am excited to have you in my classroom for next year. Here is a list of requested supplies that I recommend you have with you on the first day of school.

12 (#2) pencils-very basic
2 boxes of tissues
1 large pink or green eraser
1 box of markers: basic colors
1 box (48 or less) of crayons
2 red ballpoint pens (no gel pens)
1 pair of scissors
4 spiral single subject notebooks
6 pocket folders
1 bottle of white Elmer’s glue (no Gel Glue!)
2 large glue sticks
2 blue or black dry erase markers
1 box (16 or 24) colored pencils
1 box of quart size freezer zip lock bags
1 large yellow highlighter
1 pair of shoes for P.E.
$1.00 for a special supply box that I will be purchasing for you.

Please do not bring pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes or trapper keepers to school. Items brought to school that are not on the list above will be sent home. We do not have very much space in our desks. It would also be very helpful if everything could be labeled with your name or initials.

I encourage all parents to make sure you monitor your child's progress/grades by regularly checking Power School. If you do not have a password, please contact the office and we can arrange for you to get one. This is an excellent tool to help you see how your child is doing in school.
