Homecoming Court

Tri County High School’s annual homecoming will take place on Friday, September 20, 2024.  Pregame activities will begin at 2:00 pm with a Golf-Cart/Side-by-Side Homecoming Parade featuring the Homecoming Court and Tri County fall athletes around Circle Drive in front of Tri County, then at 2:30pm there will be a Homecoming Pep Rally in the High School Gymnasium. At 6:00pm the Music Boosters will host a meal from RJ’s at the picnic shelter by the press box. Other school organizations will be participating in Homecoming Fest on the Elementary playground, games will cost at least $1 each. Kickoff against Sandy Creek will be at 7:00 p.m.  Homecoming Queen candidates will be introduced at halftime, and the 2024 Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned immediately after the game.

This year’s king candidates are Pierce Damrow, Ben Holsing, Ethan Jobman, Cole Spahr, and Cooper Stokebrand.  The queen candidates are Hailey Lauenstein, Rylee McCune, Ashton Schwisow, Avery Schultis, and Aubrey Simes. Reid Siebrandt and Trinity Garrison will serve as this year’s crown bearers.  Last year’s king, Dusty Kapke and queen, Evelyn Baker will be assisting with the coronation.

The homecoming dance this year will again take place on Friday evening after the football game in the high school cafeteria.  The dance will begin right after the game and will conclude at midnight.  The theme for this year’s dance is Denim and Disco.  The dance is open to all current 9th–12th graders at Tri County High School.  The admission is $10 per person.

Grades K – 12 will also be celebrating Homecoming with Spirit Week.  Monday is Color Wars, then it is Mathletes vs. Athletes on Tuesday, followed by College Gameday Wednesday, Thursday is ‘Merica Day, and the week concludes with the traditional Blue and Gold Day.

The Tri County Student Council is coordinating the homecoming activities again this year.  The advisers for the student council are Mrs. Hannah Gay and Mrs. Ashton Wollenburg.
