We’re thrilled to announce that our Scholastic Book Fair is just around the corner! From September 30th to October 3rd, our school will be transformed into a haven for book lovers for our preschool through 8th grade students. Mark your calendars and get ready for an exciting array of books, activities, and opportunities to support our school library!
Fair Hours
The Book Fair will be open for shopping before school and after school until 3:45 PM each day. Students will also have the chance to explore and shop during their scheduled library time. And don’t forget – on Parent-Teacher Conference Night, the Fair will be open from 1 PM until the end of conferences, providing a perfect opportunity to browse while you are at school!
Wish Lists and Classroom Pickup
To make your Book Fair experience even better, students will be able to fill out a wish list of their favorite books. These wish lists will be available with your child’s classroom teacher for pickup during Parent-Teacher Conferences. It's a fantastic way to ensure your child gets the books they’ve been dreaming about!
Exciting Features
We are excited to continue our “Round Up” program this year! When checking out, you’ll have the option to round up your total to the nearest dollar. These extra funds will go directly towards helping cover the costs of books for students who may not be able to purchase them. It’s a wonderful way to give back and ensure that every student has the chance to enjoy new books. This also helps eliminate coins!
Additionally, we’re bringing back our eWallet feature! This cashless option allows friends and family to add money to a student’s eWallet for a convenient shopping experience. Please note that no change is given for eWallet transactions, so be sure to load the exact amount you want to spend. eWallet money stays in that account and can be used year after year. Please make sure that if you add funds to an eWallet that it is done before their library day.
A Look Back
Last year, our Book Fair was a tremendous success, and we couldn’t have done it without your support. We added a variety of new titles to our school library, including the popular NFL collection, a new bookshelf for our Who Was/Who Is series, and engaging series like Dragon Masters, Press Start, and Unicorn Diaries. We’re looking forward to even more great additions this year!
